This is a 21+ limited capacity event. The price of the ticket includes concert entry, unlimited free open bar, and a full taco meal (provided by Rancho’s OnSite Tacos). Hosted at a private residence in Los Angeles, address revealed upon ticket purchase.

Throughout the years, we've had the privilege of showcasing a remarkable lineup of our favorite artists and friends. As we kick off 2024 in style with our TENTH Backyard Sessions, we're introducing a slightly different but incredible special twist.

For the first time ever, we're thrilled to present a big band! For those less acquainted with big band music, the name says it all – it’s a (really) big band. Our friend and collaborator, Tim McKay, is bringing together 17 of LA’s most exceptional musicians to celebrate the music of the incredible Anita Baker, on her birthday! The band will also include a few of LA’s dopest singers - Maiya Sykes, Adryon De Leon, Shira Elias and Blue Dream’s very own, Raquel Rodriguez.

TIM MCKAY is an accomplished woodwind player, arranger, and composer who has made Los Angeles his home for over a decade. Over the years, he has showcased his versatile talent by performing and recording with a diverse array of artists, leaving his mark on the music of Jason Derulo, Kacey Musgraves, Dr. Dre, Dave Grohl, Raye, Dianne Reeves, Branford Marsalis, and contributing to various television and movie scores.

In addition to his impressive performance credits, McKay has established himself as a sought-after arranger and composer. His musical expertise is evident in the arrangements he has crafted for acclaimed artists such as Jon Batiste, Denzel Curry, Scary Pockets, the Theodicy Jazz Collective, Jane Monheit, and the ndr big band.

MAIYA SYKES s a highly accomplished and versatile artist known for her exceptional vocal talents and impressive contributions to the music and entertainment industry. Known for her exceptional voice, Maiya has collaborated on albums with Macy Gray, Rod Wave, Ringo Starr, Wayne Brady, Fantasia, Joss Stone, Michael Buble, Everlast, Avril Lavigne, and My Morning Jacket. Her Tv/Film Credits include "The Voice" (season 7) and Netflix series "Waffles and Mochi” and films like "Creed III," "La La Land," and "Dolomite is My Name." Maiya's digital presence includes collaborations with Post Modern Juxebox and Scary Pockets, two notable groups making big waves on Youtube.

ADRYON DE LEÓN is currently a featured principal vocalist, performer, and voiceover artist for the Disneyland Resort, and has performed background vocals for Macy Gray, Patti Austin, The Growlers, George Clinton, and Idina Menzel. She recently contributed vocals to the Grammy-nominated Lady Gaga album Chromatica and is a featured solo vocalist on an original song for the Netflix film Mank, submitted for Oscar consideration in 2020.

SHIRA ELIAS is a Los Angeles based vocalist, recording artist and songwriter who has toured the country and beyond with the funk group, Turkuaz, and currently performs with the band Cool Cool Cool. She has toured alongside musical legends, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic and Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew of the Talking Heads. Shira recently released her second EP under her own name, and continues to create and fulfill her mission of bringing people together through music.

RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ might be a familiar name as she is a co-owner/operator of Blue Dream Studios. She’s also a multifaceted artist born and raised in Los Angeles that embodies the true meaning of being a creator. She consistently challenges being categorized as she skillfully explores numerous pathways in her music and in the industry, ranging from production and songwriting to shining brightly as a solo artist. With over 20 million streams, her debut album “Sweet Side” remains a staple on playlists across the globe and continues to be shared far and wide. Rodriguez is set to release a fresh and exciting project in 2024 starting with her first single “Let Me Remind You," available now.
